We’re offering a unique opportunity to join our Human Resources team in a full‑time, permanent capacity, supporting the Rockhampton Region.
In this role, you’ll thrive at the heart of a fast‑paced, safety‑critical environment, working closely with leaders to deliver consistent, compliant, and practical HR solutions that make a real difference. As a senior member of the local leadership team, your adaptability and problem‑solving mindset will help shape positive outcomes across diverse teams and locations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build strong trusted relationships with our business leaders whilst advising them on policies, processes, and award interpretation to ensure fair and consistent decisions.
- Coach and grow leaders to confidently manage performance, behaviour, and team culture, enabling us to continue being recognised as a great place to work.
- Drive a safety-first culture whilst oversee workforce and safety-related processes.
- Deliver performance and talent initiatives, supporting reviews, succession planning, and development pathways as we continue to build a world class culture.
- Enhance employee experience, culture and support change, embedding engagement initiatives and new ways of working.
What you’ll need:
We are hoping our new team member will bring the following:
- Degree in Human Resources / Business or related discipline
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Proven experience managing performance and conduct matters
- Demonstrated ability to coach leaders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships with all employees
- A genuine desire to contribute strong relationship‑building skills to a business that thrives on connection
- An interest in making a meaningful difference and supporting a great team, while having fun along the way
